TideWatch® Launches a New Proprietary Panel for a Joint Venture Between Two Fortune 500 Companies

A Word on Our Proprietary Panels

TideWatch® recently developed and launched a panel for cardholders of a major credit card. Comprising several thousand panelists, the project was conceived as a monthly study to gauge card satisfaction and usage, as well as cardholder behavior, and reception to various card benefits. Additionally, the project also tracks cardholders’ general entertainment interests and involvement with other products and services offered by the company and its partners.

More and more often, clients are looking for efficient, versatile, cost-effective ways to better understand their customers and perhaps more importantly, maintain an ongoing dialogue with them. In addition to the recent cardholder panel, we addressed this need with ESPN through creation and management of the ESPN Viewer Zone.

TideWatch® helps our clients stay on top of what’s most important to their target audience through the development and management of proprietary panels. We have created a multitude of diverse panels, ranging from the management of a consumer database to more complex panels that also have a web portal which may include additional member communication elements such as online forums or blogs where members can discuss current topics and issues related to the clients’ industry.

Our proprietary panels are unique in that they are not pre-packaged products, but are instead customized based on objectives and concerns that are of utmost importance to the client. We can interview members as frequently or infrequently as needed – whether it’s daily, weekly, monthly, or on a per-need basis. Additionally, we are able to utilize proprietary panels for a variety of research efforts – focus group recruits (both online and traditional), phone interviews, recruit to views, etc. We differentiate ourselves through our questionnaire design, panel management and also through our use of creativity in our surveys, which can include Flash-based graphics and seasonal images whenever possible.

Most importantly, we take great care in maintaining relationships with panel members, making sure they have direct access to us at anytime if they have any questions, comments, concerns, or are having technical difficulties. Additionally, we allow our clients as much or as little access to the panel as they desire. Our goal is to ensure members remain active so they can continuously provide our clients with helpful, constructive information while also having a positive, engaging experience. Essentially, we view the panel as not only a research tool but as an extension of the client/customer relationship.
