Alan Dorsch Joins TideWatch as VP of Operations
We are very pleased to announce that Alan Dorsch has joined the TideWatch team as Vice President of Operations. We are excited to have him on our team and know he will make a significant contribution to our continued growth.
Alan brings over 23 years of market research and leadership experience that spans both the supplier side as well as the client side.
On the supplier side, Alan has worked for syndicated research organizations ACNielsen and IRI as well as large custom research companies including IPSOS and TNS.
On the client side, he spent 10 years with Brown & Williamson in various roles, ranging from field sales to home office positions including Market Research, Sales Planning and Sales Strategy/Analysis.
Alan maintains a diverse blend of custom qualitative and quantitative research knowledge as well as syndicated consumer packaged goods experience. He has experience in all phases of the research continuum including: discovery, design, qualification, pre-launch, launch and post-launch phases, as well as analysis and strategic recommendations. Alan consults and collaborates on General Market Understanding/Consumer Insights, Ideation/Concept Creation, Brand Development, Brand Marketing/Communications and Brand Performance/Equity/Health.
Alan has worked with numerous clients in the Consumer Package Goods industry including P&G, Rubbermaid, Jergens (KAO), L'Oreal, Heinz Pet, Starkist Tuna, Georgia Pacific, Pepperidge Farm, Absolut (V&S Spirits), Perfetti Van Melle, Bob Evans, Cadbury Schweppes, B&W Tobacco (now RJReynolds), Johnson & Johnson, and Culligan.
He has also consulted with clients in the Travel/Entertainment industry including Hilton Hotels, American Airlines, and Harrah's Entertainment. In addition, he has worked with Bosch/Siemens, American Century Investments, Select Comfort, and Sappi Paper.
As VP of Operations, Alan oversees the day-to-day management of the entire TideWatch team and works with the Managing Directors on company planning and strategy. He is ultimately responsible for the quality of our research product and the development of our talent. Alan’s expertise is integral to our plans for expansion as we approach our 10-year anniversary mark.
